Time Travel has not yet been invented, but one of these days it will be. On on that day, you can bet Jay n’ Jordan’s younger selves will be itching to go back to the day they first saw Rian Johnson’s Looper in theatres. In case you missed previous episodes where Jay raved about being excited to see Looper, it’s the new science-fiction thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. This is going to be a big episode so be sure to fasten the seat belts on your time-hopping rocket sled as we get right into it.
First off, after the guys chat about some news, what they’re looking forward to, and some recommends, is a interview with the charming Ryan Jespersen! Co-host of Edmonton’s own Breakfast Television and man about town, Ryan stopped by the Unknown Studio at the Mercer Building to talk with us about movies, hockey, and of course, Edmonton.
Then, Jay had the HUGE opportunity to virtually sit down with the writer and director of Looper: Rian Johnson. Mr. Johnson wrote and directed one of Jay’s favourite films of all time, Brick. The conversation flowed from time travel to Reddit to Twitter to writing. Jay had a blast talking to Rian and hopes you enjoy the interview too.
And of course Jay n’ Jordan talked Looper! And for this very special early review of the movie the guys asked a nice round table of folks to come talk with them. Danica LeBlanc and Liz Bolt along with Brandon Schatz and James Leask (of Comics! The Blog) joined the guys for an early screening of Looper and were gracious enough to come talk everything Looper on the episode.
